On Friday (9/8/2024), the Civil Law Department internal meeting have been conducted in Pusat Kajian Fakultas Hukum (Study Centre of Faculty of Law). This meeting was attended by the lecturers from Civil Law Department that actively participated in the discussion and planning session.
The main agenda in this meeting covered the discussion regarding the Odd Semester Classes 2024/2025, including the adjustment for the curriculum and the innovative teaching methods to improve the education quality for the students. In addition, the Annual Work Plan and Budget (RKAT) (Rencana Kerja dan Anggaran Tahunan) was also presented that elaborate the resources and budget allocation for the department’s programs. This meeting also discussed about the other department’s working plan that intended to strengthen the partnership connection and improve the department’s academic reputation.
This meeting is not only important for the sustainability of the department’s operation but also to contribute to the fulfillment of SDGs, one of them is the 4th goal that focuses on the Qualified Education, where this meeting was intended to improve the quality of law learning in UGM. The 16th goal that emphasizes the Peace, Justice, and Strong Institution also align with the effort from the department in building an effective and accountable legal institution. Lastly, the 17th goal of SDGs also highlights the importance of Partnership for the Goals, reflected through collaboration and partnership plan that will be conducted by the department with several parties.
