The Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM) delegation won the overall championship at the 2016 Diponegoro Law Fair held by Universitas Diponegoro in Semarang, bringing home the Prof. Satjipto Rahardjo Challenge Trophy. The competition was held from 28–30 October 2016. FH UGM was represented by four teams across three competition categories: two teams in the Scientific Writing Competition (LKTI), one team in Contract Drafting, and one team in the National Debate Competition.
The LKTI teams, under the guidance of the PALAPA Legal Research and Writing Forum (FPPH), won first and second place. First place was awarded to the team of Carla Nathania and Imelda Chandra, while second place went to Abhirama Haidar and Reynard Kristian. The Contract Drafting team, under the guidance of the Business Law Community, secured third place. The team consisted of Annessa Zahra, Ima Nurlatifah, Martha Sooai, Petty Ika Wayne, Priaksa Pradipta, Rianvi Giovani, and Suci Rahma Putri. Meanwhile, the National Debate team, comprising Bramanda S. S., Jhon Ias Simamora, and R. Hilda A., advanced to the semifinals. With these achievements, the FH UGM delegation was named the overall champion of the 2016 Diponegoro Law Fair and brought home the Prof. Satjipto Rahardjo Challenge Trophy. The achievement was made possible through the hard work and dedication of every member of the FH UGM delegation.
