Master of Notary Faculty of Law UGM 2024: A Form of Commitment For A Qualified Education

At the end of the year 2024, through their Instagram account at @notariatlaw.ugm, Master of Faculty of Law had successfully released a poster for the recapitulation regarding the activities and the achievements throughout 2024. The Vision and Mission of the study program has been realized through the events that had successfully finished by Master of Notary Faculty of Law UGM.

In 2024, through a series of testing stages, the Master of Notary Program at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada, accepted 108 new students from 231 applicants, with a selection ratio of 1:2.12. The average study period for Master of Notary Program students at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada, is 31 months, with the shortest study period being 18 months. Meanwhile, regarding the tracer study completed by 58 of the 103 graduates, 35 of them stated that they have jobs relevant to their study program.

Furthermore, in 2024, the Master of Notary Program, Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), successfully implemented various activities oriented towards the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, including field visits, public lectures, guest lectures, practical lectures, training, scheduled study monitoring, and various national seminars. Various other supporting activities were also successfully implemented, such as hosting the 2024 National Working Meeting of the BKS MKN PTN throughout Indonesia, the Call for Papers and Dissemination of Research Results, and the 2024 Universitas Gadjah Mada Notary Competition. Furthermore, achieving the Excellence Accreditation award is another outstanding achievement for the Master of Notary Program, Faculty of Law, UGM, this year.

Regarding student publications, this year's student work has been published in one international journal, six accredited national journals, five non-accredited national journals, 23 national seminar proceedings, and 13 articles in the mass media. Furthermore, UGM's Master of Notary Law students have also won 11 national competitions. In terms of community service, they have released two podcasts and one book entitled "Notarial Deeds: Concepts, Basic Structures, and Drafting Techniques," a collaboration with the Yogyakarta Special Region Regional Board of the Indonesian Notaries Association.

All of the activities and achievements of the UGM Master of Notary Law program in 2024 demonstrate the commitment of the Management of the Master of Notary Law program at the UGM Faculty of Law to continuously improve the quality of education, as stated in point 4 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
