ALSA Visit is one of the program under the Division of External Affairs ALSA LC UGM. This program is a platform for ALSA LC UGM members for a transfer knowledge, experience and perspective sharing, and building a good connection between ALSA LC UGM members and other local chapter In 2024, ALSA LC UGM had the opportunity to visit ALSA LC Universitas Padjadjaran (ALSA LC Unpad) which brought the theme “Bridging Bonds and Infinite Connection”ALSA Visit 2024 was attended by 36 participants from ALSA LC UGM and 37 participants from ALSA LC Unpad.
ALSA Visit 2024 that started on Friday (5/07/2024) consisted of 3 series of events, which are Sharing Session, Faculty Tour, and Gala Diner. Sharing Session and Faculty Tour was conducted in Faculty of Law Universitas Padjajaran. Sharing Session Sharing Session itself is the main series of events in ALSA Visit 2024 that aimed to deeply know each other between eachlocal chapter . In this session, each director from each local chapter presented their local board structural,working programs from each local chapterand their experiences in ALSA.
This Sharing Session also filled with Local Chapter Bond. All participants from both chapters divided into several groups, Each group shared their experience as a member of each ALSA local chapter. This Sharing Session also featured fun games ,, namely ALSAians 05.7 FM, where the committee require the participant to write on Post-It paper regarding their experience in ALSA using a lyric from a song .
The next session was Faculty Tour session that aimed to introduce the environment of Faculty of Law Universitas Padjajaran to the participants from Faculty of Law UGM. The participants from Faculty of Law UGM was guided by the members of ALSA LC Unpad to walk around the campus and visited several facilities insides such as classrooms and the library. The main event from ALSA Visit 2024 was the Gala Dinner that located in Grand Pasundan Convention Hotel, Bandung. Gala Dinner was a dinner and game session between both local chapters. This session was aimed to strengthen the bond between the participants. In this relaxed and warm atmosphere, the participants had the opportunity to discuss and sharing their experiences. This session ran smoothly and all participants enjoyed these whole series of events. Through ALSA Visit 2024, it is expected that the bond between ALSA LC UGM and ALSA LC Unpad can become stronger.
This ALSA Visit activity also supports the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
