Senin (26/1/2026), Fakultas Hukum Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM) melalui unit Legal Consultation & Assistance Center (PKBH) bersama Kejaksaan Tinggi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (Kejati DIY) telah sukses melaksanakan kegiatan Penyuluhan Hukum “Suluh Praja” di Kantor Kalurahan Tirtomartani, Kecamatan Kalasan, Kabupaten Sleman, Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penyuluhan hukum ini dilaksanakan mulai pukul 09:00 di dalam Aula Kantor Kalurahan Tirtomartani. Adapun beberapa tema yang dibawakan adalah Kenakalan Remaja dan Reintegrasi Sosial oleh Prof. Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A., Labor Law oleh Prof. Dr. Ari Hernawan, S.H., M.Hum., dan Tanah Kas Desa oleh Virga Dwi Efendi, S.H., LL.M.
Additionally, there was an introduction to the Main Duties and Functions (Tupoksi) of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Indonesia in various fields, specifically Civil and State Administrative Law (Datun), presented by representatives from Kejati DIY. In line with the various themes presented, this legal counseling aimed to provide legal insight and knowledge regarding current legal issues to the participants, specifically the Kalurahan officials (perangkat kalurahan).
The event commenced with a joint prayer and the singing of the national anthem, Indonesia Raya, by all involved parties. The agenda then proceeded with material presentations from each speaker. The Kejati DIY team, represented by Mr. Burhan Joko S., S.H., Mr. Slamet Siswanta, S.H., M.H., and Mrs. Sri Mujiastuti, S.H., M.H., elucidated the duties of the Datun sector regarding government agencies, covering legal assistance, legal considerations, and other legal actions.

The activity proceeded well and successfully facilitated various discussions between speakers and participants. In line with this, the implementation of this legal counseling is expected to contribute to SDG Goal 8 regarding decent work and economic growth. Furthermore, it is expected to align with SDG Goal 10 regarding reducing inequalities through the creation and protection of workers' rights, SDG Goal 11 aimed at building sustainable cities and settlements, and SDG Goal 16 to create peace, justice, and strong institutions starting from the Kalurahan government level. Through tangible contributions aligned with Sustainable Development Principles, FH UGM continues to move towards fulfilling the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi), one of which is community service.
