The strategic synergy between academia and industry continues as the Faculty of Law at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), through the NRGS Center for Natural Resource Governance Studies, together with PT Pertamina Persero through Pertamina Corporate University, held a follow-up session of the 2025 Pertamina Mini Master of Law Program. Entering its tenth week, this intensive program was held on Saturday and Sunday, September 20–21, 2025, at the UGM Master of Law Campus, Jakarta.
Attended by 60 participants ranging from managerial to executive levels within PT Pertamina Persero, this program was specifically designed to enhance analytical skills and strategic decision-making based on law. This session focused on four crucial pillars in modern business law practice, namely Public Finance Law, Commercial Contract dynamics, risk mitigation strategies through Corporate Law, and complex mechanisms in Capital Market Law.
To ensure the depth of the material, the learning sessions were filled by leading experts from the UGM Faculty of Law. Participants gained direct insights from Prof. Dr. Drs. Paripurna, S.H., M.Hum., LL.M., Professor of Business Law; Alfatika Aunuriella Dini, S.H., M.Kn., Ph.D., Lecturer in Civil Law; Prof. Dr. Sulistiowati, S.H., M.Hum. Professor of Business Law, and Prof. Dr. Nindyo Pramono, S.H., M.S. Professor of Business Law. Intensive discussions took place on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Starting the series of lessons on Saturday morning, participants took Pre-Test 5. This session took place from 08.00-09.00 WIB. It was designed not only as a warm-up but also as a diagnostic tool to map participants' initial understanding so that classroom discussions could be more in-depth and relevant to the practical challenges faced.
This initiative reaffirms the shared commitment between the Faculty of Law at UGM and Pertamina in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through the enhancement of human resource capacity (SDG 4: Quality Education), the strengthening of fair and transparent corporate governance (SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and productive cross-sector collaboration (SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, this program contributes significantly to the formation of a professional, adaptive, and integrity-based national corporate legal ecosystem.
