The Business Law Community (BLC) of the Faculty of Law at Gadjah Mada University conducted the BLC Peer Visit 2025 program to the Business Law Society of the Faculty of Law at the University of Indonesia (BLS FH UI) under the theme “Connecting Visions for Collaborative Growth in Business Law.” This event took place on Saturday (September 27, 2025) and aimed to strengthen institutional networks, broaden students’ perspectives, and enhance collaboration in the field of business law between the two business law communities.
The series of activities began with an opening session and welcoming remarks from both parties, followed by a Sharing Session featuring presentations on the organizational profiles of both BLC FH UGM and BLS FH UI. The similarities in their structures and divisions served as the basis for the Chamber Discussion, which facilitated an exchange of ideas regarding work programs, organizational strategies, and the dynamics of business law academic development at each university. Participants also took part in a campus tour to get a closer look at the UI Faculty of Law.

Through this activity, the BLC at the Faculty of Law, UGM, not only expanded its academic network but also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This peer visit aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) by increasing access and knowledge exchange; SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by building the capacity of law students as competent future professionals; and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening collaboration among legal education communities. This activity serves as the foundation for broader cooperation in the future.
