Dr. Rikardo Simarmata, S.H., one of the lecturer from Department of Agrarian Law Universitas Gadjah Mada, has officially inaugurated as the Associate Lecturer by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology on 1 December 2024. This inauguration became an important milestone in his expertise in agrarian law, especially with the issue of adat land and social welfare.
Dr. Simarmata has been actively involved in developing land law studies based on local and sustainable perspectives. Her research has significantly contributed to the understanding of agrarian law in Indonesia and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (quality education) and SDG 15 (sustainable land management).
As Associate Lecturer, Dr. Simarmata will continue to advance agrarian law education at UGM with an innovative and social reality-based approach, as well as fostering strategic collaborations that have a direct impact on agrarian resource management policies in Indonesia.
