The 15th UGM Law School-PERADI PKPA 2025 Has Officially Concluded, Preparing Indonesia’s Future Lawyers

The Specialized Professional Training Program for Lawyers (PKPA) Class XV for 2025, a collaboration between the Faculty of Law at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) and the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI), has concluded. The 15th PKPA cohort was officially closed on Saturday (May 31, 2025) in a hybrid format held in Room 3.1.1 of the Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University (FH UGM).

The closing ceremony was attended by representatives from the UGM Faculty of Law and PERADI. FH UGM was represented by the Head of the Center for Legal Consultation and Assistance (PKBH) at FH UGM, Dr. Dra. Dani Krisnawati, S.H., M.Hum., and the Chair of the PKPA XV Organizing Committee, Annisa Syaufika Y. R., S.H., M.H., as well as committee members from PKBH. Furthermore, PERADI was represented by Dr. Ariyanto, S.H., C.N., M.H., as Chair of the PERADI Yogyakarta City Branch, and committee members from PERADI. 

Following the opening remarks and closing reports from the Faculty of Law at UGM and PERADI, representatives of the PKPA XV participants shared their testimonials, noting that the PKPA XV program provided significant benefits to the participants, with instructors imparting both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to become advocates of integrity. All participants were also given merchandise from PKPA XV and will receive PKPA certificates as proof that they have successfully completed the Specialized Professional Education for Advocates.

The implementation of the Specialized Professional Education Program for Advocates (PKPA) Cohort XV is part of Indonesia’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). It is hoped that the success of this PKPA will be evident once the participants have successfully completed the coursework and passed the Attorney Professional Examination (UPA) administered by PERADI, thereby enabling them to become competent and valuable attorneys in Indonesia.
