On Thursday (November 28, 2024), the Faculty of Law at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) hosted a delegation from Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) to discuss potential collaboration in higher education. This visit marks a significant step toward expanding educational opportunities and strengthening global partnerships in the field of law.
The delegation from SISU was led by Professor Zhang Haibin, Dean of the School of Law, who was accompanied by Vice Dean Wang Weichen, Director Huang Yuemin, and Vice Dean Li Yan. The purpose of their visit was to initiate discussions regarding double degree programs and graduate studies at UGM, particularly at the master’s level.
The proposed double degree program is expected to attract students from both institutions, enabling them to acquire a diverse range of legal knowledge and skills.
