Head of the Study Program and the Students from Master of Notary Faculty of Law UGM Attended the Invitation from Property and Heritance Office for the Seminar Entitled: “Challenges for Property and Heritance Office as the State’s Curator in The Era of Modern Economy”

Wednesday (25/09/2024), the Head of the Master of Notary Study Program Faculty of Law UGM along with the students attended the invitation from Semarang Property and Heritance Office, Central Java Regional Office, Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. This invitation was for a seminar that was located in Grand Keisha Hotel, Yogyakarta. This seminar raised the theme of “Challenges for Property and Heritance Office as the State’s Curator in The Era of Modern Economy”. 

In this seminar also attended by the representative of Notary-Land Deed Official, Advocates, Surabaya BHP, Medan BHP, Yogyakarta’s Prosecutor Office, Yogyakarta’s District Court, Yogyakarta Regional Police Office, the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Central Java, the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Yogyakarta (DIY), Harian Jogja newspaper, and student representatives from several universities in Yogyakarta. 

This seminar presented 3 competent speakers. The first speaker was Oscar Sagita, S.H., as a practitioners/Curator from the Indonesian Association of Curator and Manager. In this seminar, Oscar presented materials regarding the “Challenges of State Curator in Modern Economy Era”. The second speaker, Prof. Dr. Tata Wijayanta, S.H., M.Hum., a lecturer from Master of Notary Faculty of Law UGM. Prof. Tata presented a material regarding “State Curator for Property and Heritance: Opportunity and Challenges”. Lastly, the third speaker, H. Muhammad Anshar Majid, S.H, M.H., as the Commercial Judge in Semarang’s Commercial Court presented a material regarding “Ruling on the Execution of Judgment and Seizure of Bankrupt Assets is Nullified”. 

The students gained much knowledge by attending this scientific forum that involved various institutions. This event was also the synergy between the partners and the education actors that aligned with the 17th goals of SDGs on the Partnership for the Goals.
