The Department of Agrarian Law, Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University, visited the Land Bank Agency on Thursday, November 7, 2024. This visit was part of the Department's work program to improve the capacity of lecturers and strengthen ties. The delegation was led by Dr. Jur. Any Andjarwati, S.H., M.Jur, Head of the Agrarian Law Department, and accompanied by Prof. Dr. Nurhasan Ismail, S.H., M.Si., Rafael Edy Bosko, S.H., M.IL., and Anggita Mustika Dewi, S.H., M.Kn.
The Head of the Land Bank Agency, Parman Nataatmadja, opened the event with remarks. The event continued with a presentation by Perdananto Aribowo and Inyo Cancer Hetarie, A.Ptnh., M.H., the Deputy and Deputy for Strategic Planning and Land Acquisition, respectively. During the discussion session, the lecturers interacted directly with Mr. Inyo and Mr. Parman regarding the Land Bank Agency's organizational structure, policies, and role in land management, including strategies for addressing future land issues.
This visit aimed to broaden the lecturers' knowledge of current agrarian issues, particularly the role of the Land Bank Agency as a new institution addressing land issues, particularly abandoned land in Indonesia. It is hoped that this visit will update knowledge of agrarian law and strengthen collaboration between the Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University (UGM), and the Land Bank Agency in supporting the development of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This activity also embodies the fourth point of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely quality education.
