Satria Paramartha Moot Court Organization conducted a community service activity on Friday (24/05/2024) as part of the “Sparta Mengabdi” program. The theme was “Understanding the Law: Playing Together, Obeying Rules, Securing the Future,” reflecting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) (SDGs) point number 4: Quality Education.
Sparta Mengabdi 2024 was held at the Wiloso Projo Orphanage for Abandoned Children in Yogyakarta, inviting children from the orphanage—ranging from elementary, middle, to vocational high school levels—to learn about the law in a simple and enjoyable way. The topics taught to the children included bullying and promiscuity. In addition to the educational sessions, play sessions were also held to foster a sense of togetherness among all the children.
After studying and playing, Satria Paramartha and all the children at the orphanage held a joint prayer session for the UGM Faculty of Law delegation participating in the NMCC Tjokorda Raka Dherana VIII event, praying that their journey would go smoothly and that they would achieve the desired results. The event concluded with the distribution of gifts to all the children at the orphanage.
The Sparta Mengabdi program is under the auspices of the Satria Paramartha Legal Event division, led by Diva Aulia as Division Head and Nazal Sultan as Deputy Division Head. The organizing committee for Sparta Mengabdi consists of Novita Dwi (Chairperson); Zea Alima (Secretary); Febiela (Treasurer); Musanta Berpin, Panji Alfian, Pramesti Dyah, and Azzahra Dewi (Event Division); Keisha Zefanya, M. Yahya, Cellocheva, and Naura Anargya (Public Relations Division); Meidha Thursina, Kanaya Diar, and Maritza Chelsea (Fundraising Division); and M. Sabdo and Dwi Mahayana (Logistics and Catering Division).
