BACKGROUND
As one of the pillars of legal and human rights advocacy, an advocate is expected to have strong character, integrity, competence, and adequate skill in carrying out their duties.
To uphold the legal profession as an officium nobile (noble calling) and improve the quality and professionalism of Indonesian advocates — as mandated by Article 2(1) of Law No. 18/2003 on Advocates, in conjunction with PERADI Regulation No. 3/2006 — aspiring advocates are required to complete the Special Education Program for the Legal Profession (PKPA) as a prerequisite for the Advocate Professional Exam.
This year, FH UGM partnered with PERADI RBA to hold the 2021 PKPA, backed by experienced instructors from both academia and legal practice, with high-quality, comprehensive course material. Graduates holding a Bachelor of Law (S.H.) or Bachelor of Islamic Law (S.HI-Syariah) degree were invited to register.
REGISTRATION TIME AND MECHANISM
Registration Period: September 22 – October 15, 2021 (maximum 100 participants, or closing early if the quota is filled).

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Fill out the registration form via the link http://tinyurl.com/PKPAFHUGM ;
- Upload a legalized scan of your law degree diploma (Bachelor of Law or Bachelor of Islamic Law)
*A Certificate of Graduation (SKL) was not accepted for registration.
- Upload a color passport photo and a scan of your ID card (KTP).
- Upload proof of payment via a dedicated Google Form (https://tinyurl.com/BuktiPembayaranPKPA ) covering:
- Registration fee: Rp 300,000 (three hundred thousand rupiahs)
- Tuition fee: Rp 5,000,000 (five million rupiahs)
PAYMENT PROCEDURE
- Payment is made via a billing code system;
- After filling out the Google registration form, participants will receive a billing code via email within 1–2 days. If participants do not receive the billing code via email within two days of filling out the Google form, they are asked to contact the organizing committee via the contact person listed on the poster;
- After paying the required fees, participants had to upload proof of payment via the dedicated form, https://tinyurl.com/BuktiPembayaranPKPA
- Registration and tuition fees paid were non-refundable, but could be carried over to the next PKPA cohort — usable only once, for the immediately following period.
PKPA PROGRAM
The 2021 PKPA course at FH UGM was held entirely online via Zoom, with meeting links sent by email or shared via a WhatsApp group.
