UGM Faculty of Law and PT Pertamina Continue the Pertamina Mini Master of Law Program 2025 into Its Fifth Week

The Faculty of Law at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), through the Center for Natural Resources Governance Studies (NRGS), in collaboration with PT Pertamina (Persero) through Pertamina Corporate University, has resumed the implementation of the Pertamina 2025 Mini Master of Law Program. The program has entered its fifth week of learning and was held on Saturday and Sunday, July 12–13, 2025, at the UGM Jakarta Law School Campus.

This strategic training program was attended by approximately 60 participants from PT Pertamina (Persero), including managerial staff and company executives. The program is designed to strengthen participants' understanding of corporate law by presenting relevant materials on the dynamics of modern legal practices, including Comparative Competition Law, Transnational Business Law, Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution, as well as Bankruptcy Law and Debt Payment Moratorium.

All sessions were delivered intensively by leading instructors from both academia and the legal profession, including Prof. Dr. Drs. Paripurna, S.H., M.Hum., LL. M., and Prof. M. Hawin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., from the Faculty of Law at UGM, as well as Nikki Krisadtyo, S.H., LL.M., from UMBRA Strategic Legal Solutions, and Bhirawa Jayasidayatra Arifi, S.H., LL.M., from Badranaya Partnership. The lecture sessions took place from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday and continued from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday.

As part of the learning evaluation method, this activity also includes the administration of Post-Test 2, which will take place on Sunday afternoon, July 13, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM WIB. This post-test aims to measure participants' understanding of the material presented and provide important feedback for curriculum development and teaching methods in future sessions.

The implementation of the Mini Master of Law Program is a concrete manifestation of the shared commitment between the academic and industrial worlds in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education, SDG 16 on Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals. Through this synergy, the Faculty of Law at UGM and PT Pertamina (Persero) actively contribute to strengthening adaptive, professional, and sustainable corporate legal governance while strengthening strategic institutional partnerships amid evolving global legal challenges.
