The Faculty of Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM) welcomed an educational visit from SMA Budi Mulia Dua as part of its Faculty Visit program on Wednesday, 15 July 2026. The visit provided students with an opportunity to gain a closer understanding of higher education, particularly at the Faculty of Law UGM, while learning about academic opportunities and university life.
The event began with welcoming remarks from Sukses Risdiyanto, S.Pd., Vice Head of Public Relations of SMA Budi Mulia Dua. In his remarks, he expressed his appreciation for the warm reception extended by the Faculty of Law UGM and conveyed his hope that the visit would broaden the students’ perspectives as they consider their future academic pathways.
The welcoming session was followed by a presentation delivered by Prof. Dr. Hartini, S.H., M.Si. In her presentation, she encouraged students to better understand their interests, potential, and future aspirations before choosing a field of study. She also introduced the Faculty of Law UGM, highlighting its academic environment, areas of legal study, and the various opportunities for personal and professional development available throughout students’ academic journey at FH UGM.
The program continued with an interactive discussion and question-and-answer session led by Dr. Sartika Intaning Pradhani, S.H., M.H. During the session, students actively raised questions about academic life at the Faculty of Law UGM, teaching and learning methods, career prospects for graduates, and the experience of being a law student. The lively and engaging discussion reflected the participants’ enthusiasm for higher education.
To complement the session, Dwi Julianto, A.Md., and Martaningsih Adityas Putri, S.Pd., provided an overview of the admission process for the Faculty of Law UGM. Their presentation covered the admission pathways for both the Regular Program and the International Undergraduate Program (IUP), application requirements, and the wide range of academic and non-academic facilities available to students.
Through this faculty visit, the students gained a comprehensive understanding of the Faculty of Law UGM, including its admission process, academic system, and the various opportunities that support both academic and personal development throughout university life. This activity also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by providing inclusive access to higher education information, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and secondary schools in preparing the next generation for higher education.
