Fakultas Hukum UGM Raih Peringkat 1 Nasional dalam THE WUR by Subject 2026 Bidang Hukum

The Faculty of Law of Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM) has once again achieved international recognition through its performance in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2026. In the latest rankings, FH UGM secured 1st place nationally and was ranked within the 201–250 global band in the field of Law.

This achievement further reinforces FH UGM’s position as one of Indonesia’s leading legal education institutions with a strong global presence. The accomplishment reflects the collective commitment of the Faculty’s academic community to maintaining educational excellence, strengthening the quality and impact of research, and enhancing meaningful contributions to society.

Beyond numerical rankings, the achievement embodies the Faculty’s continued dedication to growth, innovation, and strategic engagement in the advancement of legal scholarship at the international level.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings is a globally recognized university ranking system published by Times Higher Education, a United Kingdom-based higher education ranking organization. Through the THE WUR by Subject framework, institutions are assessed based on specific academic disciplines, including Law.

The Law ranking evaluates universities across a range of legal disciplines, including Constitutional and Administrative Law, International Law, Commercial and Corporate Law, Criminal Law and Justice, Legal Theory, and Jurisprudence. In 2026, the ranking included 425 universities from 53 countries and territories.

Penilaian dilakukan menggunakan 18 indikator kinerja yang sama dengan Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026, yang telah dikalibrasi ulang agar relevan dengan karakteristik dan dinamika bidang hukum. Melalui capaian ini, Fakultas Hukum UGM semakin memperkuat reputasinya sebagai pusat pengembangan ilmu hukum yang unggul dan berdaya saing global.
