In support of a healthy and sustainable lifestyle on campus, the Faculty of Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM) has installed Toyagama water fountains throughout the faculty, available to all members of the academic community. The fountains provide a safe, hygienic, and readily accessible source of drinking water.
The Toyagama fountains are not only designed for direct drinking — they also feature a dedicated refill station for those who bring their own reusable bottles or tumblers. In this way, the facility actively encourages campus members to carry personal water containers and reduce their reliance on single-use plastic bottles.
This initiative reflects the UGM Faculty of Law's commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — particularly SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), by providing safe drinking water access for all campus users, and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), by reducing plastic waste and fostering environmental awareness among students, lecturers, and staff.
Through this facility, FH UGM not only works toward a clean, healthy, and comfortable campus environment — it also embeds the values of sustainability and ecological responsibility as a lasting part of campus academic culture.
