In celebration of Eid al-Adha 1446 AH, the Faculty of Law at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) held a religious gathering attended by the entire academic community, including faculty members, support staff, contracted cleaning and security personnel, and drivers.
The event will take place on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (WIB), in Room 3.1.2, Building III, Faculty of Law, UGM.
This religious lecture featured Ustadz Anton Ismunanto, M.Pd.I., as the keynote speaker. In his sermon titled “Understanding the Example of Prophet Ibrahim in Sacrifice”, Ustadz Anton Ismunanto encouraged all participants to emulate the values of sincerity, obedience, and sacrifice exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim AS in daily life, particularly in fostering integrity and solidarity in the workplace.

This event served as a time for reflection for the entire UGM Faculty of Law community to strengthen their spiritual values and sense of togetherness ahead of the Eid al-Adha celebration.
In addition, this initiative supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 on good health and well-being by improving the mental and spiritual health of the academic community, SDG 4 on quality education by incorporating the teaching of moral and ethical values within a religious context, SDG 10 on reducing inequalities by involving all members of the campus community regardless of employment status, and SDG 16 on peace, justice, and strong institutions by fostering values of integrity and solidarity as part of the institutional culture. In the spirit of Eid al-Adha, the UGM Faculty of Law hopes that these values of togetherness and spirituality will continue to serve as the foundation for building an inclusive, harmonious, and integrity-driven campus community.
