Thursday, (9/1/2025), the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM), through the Legal Aid Consultation Center (PKBH) and the Research and Publication Unit (URP), conducted a visit to the Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI) Yogyakarta Station. This visit aimed to discuss collaboration and partnership in developing broadcast programs. This activity reflects FH UGM's commitment to supporting the 16th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) by building inclusive institutional frameworks and the 17th SDG by establishing partnerships to achieve concrete and impactful goals.
The visit was attended by representatives from FH UGM, including Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A., Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems; Dr. Muhammad Fatahillah Akbar, S.H., LL.M., Head of URP; and Adetia Surya Maulana, representative of PKBH. From TVRI Yogyakarta, the meeting was attended by Budy Kurniawan, S.Sos., Head of TVRI Yogyakarta and Meidiana Pancawati.

This visit marked the first step in 2025 for FH UGM in advancing its excellence in research and community service programs. One strategy to achieve this is through collaboration with various partners. FH UGM aims to deliver impactful outcomes directly to the public, one of which involves utilizing television media through collaboration with TVRI Yogyakarta. The synergy between the two parties is expected to broaden public legal knowledge and provide solutions to societal legal issues through broadcast programs on TVRI Yogyakarta. This collaboration will be formalized through a Cooperation Agreement to be finalized soon.
The visit proceeded smoothly and successfully. The FH UGM delegation, including representatives from PKBH and URP, received a warm welcome from TVRI Yogyakarta. The collaboration between the two institutions will soon be realized, supporting the Tri Dharma of Higher Education—research, and community service—to enhance legal services and public access to quality legal information.
