The Scientific Paper Competition (Kompetisi Karya Tulis Ilmiah/KKTI) is one of the competition categories in the Islamic Law Fair VIII 2024 series, a biennial event regularly organized by the Faculty Student Organization (UKM-F) Islamic Law Study Group of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro. The competition is open to undergraduate (S-1) students from Faculties of Law and Faculties of Sharia and Law at public and private universities across Indonesia, excluding students from Universitas Diponegoro.
Islamic Law Fair VIII 2024 carried the overarching theme, “The Progressiveness of the National Legal System Based on Pancasila Values in Welcoming Golden Indonesia 2045.” The theme was inspired by the idea that the national legal system envisioned by the founding fathers in the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia (UUD NRI 1945) should be dynamic and capable of promoting the welfare of the Indonesian people. The competition featured three main categories: the Scientific Paper Competition (KKTI), the Legal Opinion Competition (LO), and the Legislative Drafting Competition (KPUU).
The Scientific Paper Competition (LKTI) consisted of two stages: a preliminary round conducted online and a final round held offline. This competition category was participated in by 24 teams from various universities across Indonesia. Out of the 24 teams, the top five teams with the highest scores advanced to the final round organized by the Islamic Law Study Group (KSHI) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro.
This achievement is expected to serve as motivation for UGM students to continue striving for excellence and achieving accomplishments, both in the field of law and beyond. ✨
