UGM committed to strengthen their identity as the World Class Research University (WCU). This determination was shown with the visitations from UGM Delegations to oversea institutions, and one of them was Timor Leste’s Ministry of Education that was conducted on Monday (4/11/2024).
The delegation was led by The Dean of UGM Faculty of Law, Dahliana Hasan, S.H., M.Tax., Ph.D. with other members, included Head of the Doctoral Education Study Program in Law, Prof., M. Hawin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems, Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A., Head of the Undergraduate Study Program in Law, Dr. Wahyu Yun Santoso, S.H., M.Hum., LL.M. and Head of the Partnership and Development Unit, Andika Putra, S.H., M.H., LL.M.
In this opportunity, Dahliana Hasan explained that the intention of visitation was to convey the interest in the potential collaboration and education offering for the outstanding students from Timor Leste to pursue the education from the Undergraduate level, Master, or Doctoral level through the scholarship that is available at FH UGM.
Meanwhile, Timor Leste’s Ministry of Education, Dulce de Jesus Soares, warmly welcomed the partnership with UGM Faculty of Law. In that meeting, Dulce de Jesus Soares also expected that this partnership could facilitate the programs such as short course or the staffs at the Timor Leste’s Ministry of Education.
Dahliana Hasan hoped that this partnership could strengthen the relationship between two institutions. With the assistance of the Minister of Education, we can send our best cadres to study at UGM.
