The Faculty of Law at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), through the Center for Natural Resources Governance Studies (NRGS), in collaboration with PT Pertamina (Persero) through Pertamina Corporate University, has resumed the implementation of the Pertamina 2025 Mini Master of Law Program with the second week of learning taking place on Saturday and Sunday, May 24–25, 2025. The event is held at the UGM Jakarta Law School Campus and is part of a series of strategic training programs aimed at enhancing legal understanding for managerial and leadership staff within the Pertamina Holding Group.
The program is specifically designed for participants with non-legal backgrounds as an effort to strengthen the foundation of practical and relevant legal knowledge in addressing the challenges of the business and industrial world. The second week of learning builds on the first week’s sessions, with a focus on legal materials that play a crucial role in enhancing legal analysis capabilities and sharpness in making strategic decisions within the corporate environment.
The second week of lectures is divided into two classes with a total of nine learning sessions. Five sessions will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM WIB, and the remaining four sessions on Sunday, May 25, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM WIB.

Activities on Saturday began with the administration of Pre-Test 1 by the NRGS team, aimed at assessing participants' initial understanding of the material before receiving instruction from the lecturers. Following the pre-test, the lectures continued with five sessions on Saturday and four sessions on Sunday, totaling nine intensive sessions. The topics covered include Capital Market Law, Commercial Contracts, Corporate Organization Law, and Public Finance Law. These topics are presented by leading faculty members from the Faculty of Law at UGM, including Prof. Dr. Nindyo Pramono, S.H., M.S. (Professor of Business Law, Faculty of Law, UGM) and Dr. Ninik Darmini, S.H., M.Hum. (Lecturer in Civil Law, Faculty of Law, UGM) who taught Securities Market Law and Commercial Contracts, as well as Prof. Dr. Sulistiowati, S.H., M.Hum. (Professor of Business Law, Faculty of Law, UGM) and Prof. Dr. Mailinda Eka Yuniza, S.H., LL.M. (Professor of Administrative Law, Faculty of Law, UGM) who taught the subjects of Corporate Organization Law and Public Finance Law.
The approximately 60 participants from PT Pertamina (Persero) and its subsidiaries demonstrated high enthusiasm through active and interactive discussions throughout the session. The Pre-Test 1 conducted on the first day will be followed by Post-Test 1 after all the course materials have been delivered. This pre-test is an important part of the learning evaluation process, which will be compared with the results of Post-Test 1, serving as an indicator of the effectiveness of the learning process during the program. Thus, participants' abilities and improved understanding can be objectively measured as part of the learning evaluation in this program.
The implementation of the Pertamina 2025 Mini Master of Law Program reflects the shared commitment between the Faculty of Law at UGM and PT Pertamina (Persero) to strengthen the integration between higher education and the industrial world. Through this collaboration, both institutions aim to build human resource capacity that is not only technically competent but also possesses a deep understanding of the law, particularly in the context of business practices and corporate governance. This initiative also serves as an active contribution to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the areas of quality education (SDG 4), fair and inclusive institutional governance (SDG 16), and strengthening strategic partnerships (SDG 17).
