As part of their preparations for the international competition, the Faculty of Law delegation from Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM) also achieved outstanding results in The 15th Indonesia Vis Pre-Moot , organized by Prasetiya Mulya University in BSD, Tangerang. The delegation secured First Runner Up and the First Best Oralist award, awarded to Sabina Kirana Zildji.
The FH UGM delegation consisted of seven talented students: Maria Na Uli Salsabilah Sabililah (2021), Althea Ariawan (2022), Armyna Cindy Setyorini (2022), Sabina Kirana Zildji (2022), Stephanie Novena Eva Prasetyo (2022), Vincent Barukh Ethan (2022), and Ni Putu Anindya Dewi Bakta (2023), with support from team manager Sheika Sabhika Sahda. They were mentored by their supervisor, Muhammad Jibril, S.H., M.PrivateLaw, from the Faculty of Law of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), and a coaching team consisting of alumni and students: Kukuh Dwi Herlangga, S.H., Grady Lemuel Ginting, S.H., Diandra Aulia Sudarso, Deja Mayna Sandyakhsa Wibowo, Imanuel Setyo Indradi Santosa, Ulfa Siti Zahra, and Keishabel Aurellia Herlambang.
Furthermore, on the international stage, the UGM Faculty of Law delegation, the sole Indonesian representative at The 5th BODENHEIMER Pre-Moot , also achieved Second Runner Up. This success demonstrated the quality of preparation, public speaking skills, and well-developed legal strategies of the UGM Faculty of Law students.
This achievement in the pre-moot supports the implementation of SDG 4 (Quality Education)by providing opportunities for real-world learning and developing students' soft skills. Furthermore, this competition reinforces the principles of inclusivity and fairness in the practice of international trade law, which is closely linked to SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
This success also demonstrates the continued support of the Faculty of Law, its trainers, alumni, and sponsors, who continue to facilitate the development of students' potential in the field of international arbitration.
