UGM Faculty of Law Highlights the Importance of Legal Education at "Be Future Ready #3" Education Fair

The UGM Faculty of Law actively participated in the "Be Future Ready #3" Education Fair, held at SMA Cahaya Bangsa Utama in Plaza Ambarrukmo, Yogyakarta, on Saturday, October 19, 2024. The event aimed to promote higher education opportunities and encourage students to explore their academic options.

The faculty established an attractive booth showcasing its programs and opportunities for students interested in pursuing a career in law. The faculty's participation aligns with the SDGs, particularly in promoting quality education and increasing enrollment in higher education institutions.

Nanda Kristin Dwi Rahayu, S.AP., an academic staff member, represented the Faculty of Law, sharing insights on the curriculum, faculty expertise, and career prospects for law graduates. She emphasized the importance of legal education in shaping future leaders and professionals who can contribute to society.

During the fair, Nanda engaged with students and parents, answering questions and addressing concerns about pursuing a law degree. She highlighted the faculty's commitment to providing a comprehensive education that balances legal theory, practical skills, and ethical considerations in the legal profession.

Beyond promoting the Faculty of Law, the event served as a platform for UGM to reinforce its commitment to the SDGs — encouraging students to pursue higher education. The faculty aimed to increase enrollment by reaching out to prospective students and providing the information needed to make informed decisions about their futures.

UGM's participation in the Education Fair reflects the university's dedication to building a culture of learning and academic excellence. By engaging with prospective students, UGM hopes to inspire the next generation of legal professionals who will uphold justice and contribute to the rule of law in society.

Overall, the "Be Future Ready #3" Education Fair was a remarkable success providing valuable opportunities for students to explore their educational options and for UGM to demonstrate its commitment to quality education and sustainable development.
