Master of Notary Law Program Faculty of Law UGM held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in preparing the academic activities in Odd Semester for Academic Year 2024/2025. As what have been acknowledged in Higher Education standard, the academic activity starts by the planning, the execution, and ends with evaluation. This FGD became a part of the planning activity to optimize the implementation of learning in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. This meeting was held on Friday (09/08/2024) and attended by the lecturers for Academic Year 2024/2025 from the Master of Notary Program. The objective of this event is to update the Semester Learning Program and Activity Plan (RPKPS), the lecture schedule, and the planning for supporting activities for each course.
The meeting started by the opening remarks from Dr. Destri Budi Nugraheni, S.H., M.S.I., as the Head of the Master of Notary Program, and continued by the material presentation. In her presentation, Destri emphasized the importance of each courses to create an academic atmosphere that support the study through activities such as discussion, practice classes, guest lectures, podcast, and book review. Aside from that, Destri also pushed the Lecturers to conduct several activities that enrich the experience of the students, such as Guest Lecture, research and publication with the students, and the community service activities with the students.
The meeting then continued with the FGD where in this session, the participants seemed enthusiast in the discussion, updated the RPKPS, and asked questions related to the conduct of the lectures. Hopefully, the odd semester lectures for the 2024/2025 academic year in the Master of Notary Study Program, Faculty of Law, UGM can run smoothly and in accordance with the RPKPS that has been prepared.
