Master in Law
LLM Program

Dual Degree

One of the most significant advantages of being a student at Master in Law FH UGM is the availability of a dual degree opportunity. This means the exceptional students can obtain two master’s degrees in law, one from UGM and one from a partner university abroad, without having to spend extra years. In approximately two years successful candidates will have obtained double LLM degrees from UGM and a partner university. The Faculty is currently under negotiation with more prospective partners for a dual graduate scheme, but at the present, students in the Master in Law Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) can pursue another LLM degree  at the University of Glasgow (UofG)

  • Students choose from thesis/dissertation topics coordinated jointly by UGM and UofG. This may be a joint discussion that takes place at UGM in Y1.

  • UofG Grading table will be required for reference [see Annex 1 in the MoA]
  • To comply with UGM’s regulations, a private viva/an oral defence will also take place in front of a committee of three examiners.
