Missions of Master in Litigation Law Faculty of Law UGM are:

1. Organizing the education and lecture of litigation law based on theory and practice.
2. Organizing and developing law research to enhance the litigation law ability that can be used to enforce the law.
3. Organizing the community service in the field of litigation law.

Master of Litigation Law Graduates are expected to fulfill the following learning accomplishment:

1. Having the ability to improve logical, critical, systematic, and creative thinking through scientific research, creating the design or other artworks in the field of science and technology that thought to and implementing the humanities values in accordance with their area of expertise, compiling the scientific and the result of their study based on rules, procedures, and scientific ethics in a form of thesis that accredited scientific journals;
2. Having the ability to do academic validation or study according to their expertise in solving the problem that arise in public or other relevant industries through the development in the knowledge and expertise;
3. Having the ability to create the idea and scientific argument along with the responsibility and academic ethic based, and spread it through media for the academic society and the general society;
4. Having the ability to identify scientific fields that are the object of their research and position them into a research map that is developed through an inter or multi-disciplinary approach;
5. Having the ability to make decisions in the context of solving science and technology development problems that pay attention to and apply humanities values based on studies, analysis or experiments on information and data;

1. Having the ability to carry out and develop the settlement of criminal, civil and administrative cases through the judicial process;
2. Having the ability to carry out and develop the court decree examination in criminal, civil, and administrative cases;
3. Having the ability to arrange and develop the legal document in criminal, civil, and administrative cases settlement through judicial process;
4. Having the ability to arrange and develop the legal document in criminal, civil, and administrative cases settlement through judicial process; 
5. Having the ability to arrange and submit a request for judicial review of the law or statutory regulations under the law; and Able to carry out and develop the settlement of criminal, civil, and administrative cases outside the judicial process

Mastery of Knowledge

1. Master in theory and application theory in litigation law and law enforcement;
2. Master in general justice system and special justice system;
3. Master in legal documents in cases settlement through judicial process;
4. Master in judicial review;
5. Master in dispute settlement outside the judicial process.

Graduates of the Litigation Law Masters Study Program, Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University are expected to be able to fill, occupy, and strengthen various professions and jobs related to the field of law and law enforcement.
