FH UGM Delegation Wins Third Place in the Deed Drafting and Notarial Practice Simulation Competition at Notary Week 2026

Students from the Master of Notarial Law Program at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM) once again achieved a remarkable accomplishment. In the Deed Drafting and Notarial Practice Simulation Competition, the FH UGM delegation secured Third Place at the national level. The competition formed part of the Notary Week 2026series organized by the Master of Notarial Law Program of Universitas Indonesia. The achievement was announced on Saturday (10/1/2026).

The competition brought together notarial law students from universities across Indonesia and was designed to assess participants’ precision, legal analytical skills, and competence in drafting notarial deeds, as well as their ability to simulate professional notarial practice. Beyond serving as a competitive event, the competition also provided a valuable learning platform that challenged participants to develop the knowledge and skills required of future notaries.

The Master of Notarial Law Program of FH UGM sent a delegation that successfully earned Third Place. The team consisted of:

  1. Sarwenda Putri Larasati (2024);
  2. Ari Arsitaningrum (2024);
  3. Muhammad Ihsan Hidayatullah (2024);
  4. Kanesya Salsabila Susilawaty (2024);
  5. Alika Puteri Handaka (2025).

This achievement demonstrates that the academic competencies cultivated through the educational process at the Master of Notarial Law Program of FH UGM can be effectively translated into success at the national level. More than simply earning a competition title, participation in this event reflects the students’ commitment to continuous growth and their aspiration to contribute to the development of a professional and ethical notarial profession.

The accomplishment also highlights FH UGM’s contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through the enhancement of higher education quality and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) through the development of professional competencies in the field of notarial law and the promotion of strong legal institutions.
