The signing of this MOU also serves as a means to enhance the community service performance of the UGM Faculty of Law, specifically through its Center for Legal Consultation and Assistance (PKBH). This includes the digitization of legal outreach programs through a broadcast series titled “Pro Justicia” in collaboration with TVRI Yogyakarta. The implementation of this activity is an effort by the UGM Faculty of Law to realize Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs, specifically Goal 4, which involves providing legal education and outreach that reaches a broader audience, SDG 16 by fostering peace, justice, and building inclusive institutions, and SDG 17 by establishing partnerships to achieve concrete and better outcomes.

The event began with an opening ceremony, followed by remarks from the UGM Faculty of Law and TVRI Yogyakarta, then the signing of the cooperation agreement, the presentation of plaques and souvenirs, followed by a photo session and a reception, and concluded with closing remarks.
The signing of this MoU is one of the steps taken by the UGM Faculty of Law and PKBH to enhance the various legal services provided by PKBH. This is particularly focused on providing the general public with access to legal knowledge and insights through a legal education program titled “Pro Justicia,” which airs on TVRI Yogyakarta every Tuesday of the second and fourth weeks at 3:00 PM WIB. TVRI Yogyakarta fully supports the implementation of this MoU to provide broader legal knowledge to the public. The collaborative synergy between the two institutions will continue to be maintained and enhanced to fulfill the Tri Dharma of Higher Education while also increasing legal knowledge for the public through broadcast programs on TVRI Yogyakarta.
