On January 17, 2025, the Faculty of Law at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) hosted a study visit from students of SMAIT As-Syifa Boarding School in Wanareja-Subang. This visit aimed to promote and socialize the undergraduate programs offered by the Faculty of Law, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to education and civil society partnerships.
The event took place in Room V.1.1 of the Faculty of Law, where students were warmly welcomed by Dr. Hendry Julian Noor, S.H., M.Kn., a lecturer from the Department of Administrative Law, and Umar Mubdi, S.H., M.A., a lecturer from the Department of Civil Law. Their presence underscored the commitment of UGM to foster educational opportunities and partnerships with civil society.
During the visit, Dr. Hendry Julian Noor provided an overview of the various undergraduate programs available at the Faculty of Law. He emphasized the importance of legal education in shaping future leaders who are equipped to address societal challenges. The students were encouraged to consider enrolling in law programs that not only focus on legal knowledge but also on ethical practices and social responsibility.
Umar Mubdi, on the other hand, shared insights into the practical aspects of studying law, including internships and real-world applications of legal principles.
