UGM continues to strengthen its identity as a World-Class University (WCU). This is evidenced by the visit to the School of Law, Ateneo de Manila University in Manila, Philippines on Wednesday (23/10/2024).
The delegation from the Faculty of Law Universitas Gadjah Mada was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dahliana Hasan, S.H., M.Tax, Ph.D. along with several other members of the delegation, including the Vice Dean for Academic, Student, and Cooperation Affairs, Adrianto Dwi Nugroho, S.H., Adv.LL.M., LL.D., and Head of the Undergraduate Program, Dr. Wahyu Yun Santoso, M.Hum., LL.M., Head of the Doctor in Law Study Program, Prof. M. Hawin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D, and Secretary of Quality Assurance Unit, Umar Mubdi, S.H., M.A..
According to the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Universitas Gadjah Mada, the purpose of this visit is to enhance institutional cooperation between the Faculty of Law of Universitas Gadjah Mada and the School of Law, Ateneo de Manila University. This cooperation has been initiated since Wednesday (23/10/2024).
During the visit, several activities were carried out an information session with undergraduate and graduate students of Ateneo de University which aims to promote and inform study opportunities with a number of benefits to prospective students from the Philippines related to master and doctoral programs offered by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
Meanwhile, the Dean of School of Law, Ateneo de Manila University, Jose Maria G. Hofileña welcomed the cooperation with Faculty of Law Universitas Gadjah Mada.
She hopes that this academic visit can open wider collaboration opportunities and introduce study programs offered by Faculty of Law Universitas Gadjah Mada to prospective students in Manila who are interested in continuing their studies in Indonesia. So that this collaboration can have a positive and sustainable impact on the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada and Ateneo de Manila University.
