Lecturers from Master of Notary Study Program Attended the Coordination Meeting with Yogyakarta Supervision Board

Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia for the Special Region of Yogyakarta (Kanwil Kemenkumham DIY) held a Coordination Meeting for Yogyakarta Supervision Board and Yogyakarta Notary Supervision Board on Tuesday (24/09/24). 

In this meeting, the lecturers from Master of Notary Study Program Faculty of Law UGM was chosen as the members of Regional Supervisory Council, Provincial Supervisory Council, and Notary Honorary Council. This was also a form of cooperation between Faculty of Law and Ministry of Law and Human Rights for DIY.  

The lecturers that attended this meeting included Dr. Hartini, S.H., M.Si and Nailul Amani, S.H., M. H as members of the Regional Supervisory Board of Kulonprogo Regency; Dr. Murti Dewi, S.H., M. Hum and Dr. Destri Budi Nugraheni, S.H., M.S.I. as members of the Regional Supervisory Board of Bantul Regency; Dr. Yulkarnain Harahab, S.H., M.Si as a member of the Regional Supervisory Board of Gunung Kidul Regency; Dr. Antari Innaka T, S.H., M. Hum as a member of the Regional Supervisory Board of Sleman Regency and R. Sumendro S.H., Heri Sabto Widodo, S.H., and Dr. jur. Any Andjarwati, S.H., M.jur. as members of the Regional Supervisory Board of Notaries of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The meeting was also attended by the Notary Honorary Council which in this case was represented by Dr. Sigid Riyanto, S.H., M.Si. and Dwi Haryati, S.H., M.H.

This meeting took place in Alana Hotel & Convention Centre, with the theme “Strengthening the Role of Provincial Supervisory Board and Regional Supervisory Board in Implementing Notary Compliance Towards UUJN and the Ethic Code in Special Region of Yogyakarta”.

This event aimed to build a commitment for the members to do an evaluation towards the implementation of the position and behavior of a notary based on the UUJN and the Notary Code of Ethics. 

This event was also an important moment to improve the synergy between the government, notary, and academics in enforcing the law in Indonesia that aligned with the 17th goals of SDGs on Partnership for the Goals.
