Titled Business Law, the book is a collaborative effort by faculty members of the Business Law Department. Contributing authors include Dina W. Kariodimedjo, Irna Nurhayati, Karina Dwi Nugrahati Putri, Laurensia Andrini, M. Hawin, Nindyo Pramono, Paripurna P. Sugarda, Royhan Akbar, Sulistiowati, and Veri Antoni. The launch marks a tangible step by the UGM Faculty of Law in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education. Written entirely in English, the book opens with an introductory chapter before delving into several key subject areas: business organization law, banking law, bankruptcy law, negotiable instruments, intellectual property law, and competition law, each chapter authored by a faculty member with expertise in that specific field. The publication is intended to serve as both a teaching resource for students and a reference for academics and practitioners in the legal field.
