The competition was first held at Universitas Diponegoro in 1998. For its 22nd edition, the competition was hosted by Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (ALSA Local Chapter Unsoed), one of the local chapters of ALSA National Chapter Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Held from 15 to 18 February 2019, the competition brought together 14 universities as delegates and two universities as observers. The 14 participating universities were Universitas Syiah Kuala, Universitas Andalas, Universitas Sriwijaya, Universitas Padjadjaran, Universitas Tarumanagara, Universitas Diponegoro, Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Jember, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Hasanuddin, Universitas Udayana, UIN Alauddin Makassar, and Universitas Sam Ratulangi. Meanwhile, Universitas Indonesia and Universitas Islam Sultan Agung participated as observers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The 14 delegations were divided into four preliminary-round pools, with the competition focusing on a human trafficking case. Following the preliminary rounds, four teams advanced to the final round: Universitas Diponegoro, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Universitas Jember, and Universitas Gadjah Mada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In addition to winning the overall championship, the FH UGM team received several individual and team distinctions, including Best Prosecutor in the Preliminary Round (Pool C), Best Defense Counsel in the Preliminary Round (Pool C), Best Panel of Judges in the Preliminary Round (Pool C), Best Prosecutor in the Final Round, Best Panel of Judges in the Final Round, and Best Case File.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The NMCC ALSA Supreme Court XXII team consisted of Novrita Nadila Humaira (2018), Jennifer (2018), Agnes Maria Monika S. (2018), Malik Aufari Wirasakti (2017), Natasha Pitoy (2018), Muhammad Abdul Malik (2018), Tri Prasetyo Dharma Yoga (2018), Siti Shalima Safitri (2018), and Panji Wendi Wahyudi (2018). The team was also supported by Amaliah A.N. Kamaru (2018), Faiq Rizqi Aulia Rachim (2018), Sancho Salim (2016), Clara Anisya Aprilinda (2018), Nugroho Adhi Pratama (2018), Ivory Aurelli Pramudita (2016), Lidya Nelisa (2017), Jonathan Putra (Official Team), and Brian Rachmadian Cahyautama (Official Team).\nThe team was formed through a recruitment process and underwent intensive training under the guidance of ALSA LC UGM.
