{"id":6686,"date":"2021-07-10T09:47:38","date_gmt":"2021-07-10T02:47:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/law.ugm.ac.id\/?p=6686"},"modified":"2021-07-10T09:47:38","modified_gmt":"2021-07-10T02:47:38","slug":"webinar-kuliah-umum-lnsw-dalam-fasilitasi-perdagangan-internasional","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/law.ugm.ac.id\/en\/webinar-kuliah-umum-lnsw-dalam-fasilitasi-perdagangan-internasional\/","title":{"rendered":"Public Lecture Webinar: LNSW\u2019s Role in Facilitating International Trade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday, May 6, 2021, the <em>National Single Window<\/em> Institution collaborated with the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM) to organize a public lecture webinar entitled \u201cINSW in Facilitating International Trade.\u201d The event was conducted virtually via Zoom Meeting and livestreamed through the LNSW YouTube channel.<\/p>\n<p>Attended by 393 participants, the webinar aimed to provide insights into international trade from both theoretical and practical perspectives, while also disseminating information regarding the duties, functions, and role of LNSW in enhancing Indonesia\u2019s national competitiveness through trade facilitation.<\/p>\n<p>The webinar commenced at 9:00 a.m. (WIB) and was hosted by Valentine Dunam Andready. Before the opening remarks, participants were invited to turn on their cameras for a virtual group photograph.\nThe first welcoming remarks were delivered by Muhammad Lukman, S.E., M.M., representing the Head of LNSW, who was unable to attend. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of export and import activities to Indonesia\u2019s economy and highlighted the strategic role of the National Single Window Institution in supporting efficient international trade processes.\nThe second opening remarks were delivered by Dr. Mailinda Eka Yuniza, S.H., LL.M., representing the Dean of FH UGM. She expressed her appreciation for the organization of the public lecture and noted its relevance and potential benefits for participants.<\/p>\n<p>Following the opening session, Eva Sulastro Manalu, S.H., M.BL., serving as moderator, led the discussion and presentation sessions. The first presentation was delivered by Prof. M. Hawin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., who discussed recent developments in Indonesia\u2019s international trade policies. His presentation provided participants with an overview of the evolving legal and policy framework governing international trade in Indonesia.\nThe second presentation was delivered by Ircham Habib, S.Si., M.Si., who discussed the role of the Indonesian National Single Window (INSW) system in supporting international trade facilitation. He explained how the system contributes to streamlining trade procedures, improving efficiency, and enhancing coordination among government agencies involved in export and import activities.\nFollowing the presentations, the webinar continued with an interactive discussion session. The moderator conveyed questions submitted by participants, which were then addressed comprehensively by the speakers. Participants actively engaged in discussions concerning trade policy, digital trade facilitation, and the implementation of the INSW system.<\/p>\n<p>To conclude the event, a quiz session was conducted through the Kahoot platform. The three participants with the highest scores received <em>door prizes<\/em> from LNSW.
