<\/p>\nHusband and wife Prof. Andy Omara, S.H., M.Pub. & Int.Law., Ph.D. and Prof. Herliana, S.H., M.Com.Law., Ph.D. were jointly inaugurated as Full Professors of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM), at the Professorial Inaugural Address Ceremony held at the UGM Senate Hall (Balairung UGM) on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. The occasion held a special significance, as the inauguration of both professors coincided with the celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n
Prof. Herliana is a Lecturer in the Department of Private Law at FH UGM, inaugurated as Full Professor in the field of Arbitration Law. In her inaugural address, titled \"Toward Indonesia as an Arbitration-Ready Jurisdiction: Strengthening the Energy Arbitration Ecosystem,\" Prof. Herliana highlighted the importance of strengthening the energy arbitration ecosystem to support Indonesia's readiness as a reliable arbitration jurisdiction.<\/p>\n

Prof. Andy Omara is a Lecturer in the Department of Constitutional Law at FH UGM, inaugurated as Full Professor in the field of Comparative Constitutional Law. He delivered his inaugural address titled \"Judicial Strategy in Determining the Constitutional Boundaries of Energy Legislation,\" which examined constitutional law perspectives on the constitutional limits of energy legislation.<\/p>\n
