The Faculty of Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM) served as host for the Coordination Meeting of the Board of the Cooperative Body of Law Faculty Deans from State Universities Across Indonesia (BKS Dekan FH PTN Se-Indonesia) on Friday, October 2, 2026. The meeting's principal agenda was \"Coordination and Follow-up on the Completion of the Establishment of the Independent Legal Accreditation Board (Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri\/LAM Hukum).\"<\/p>\n
The meeting was attended by the Dean of FH UGM and Chair of BKS Dekan FH PTN Se-Indonesia, Dahliana Hasan, S.H., M.Tax., Ph.D.; the Secretary of BKS Dekan FH PTN Se-Indonesia, Ferry Fathurokhman, S.H., M.H., Ph.D.; and representatives of the law faculties of member state universities.<\/p>\n
The coordination meeting served as a forum for discussing the progress and follow-up actions required to complete the establishment of the LAM Hukum. It also provided a space for inter-faculty coordination among state university law faculties in aligning perspectives and formulating a joint approach to the development of an accreditation body that supports the improvement of legal higher education quality in Indonesia.<\/p>\n
The coordination meeting is in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through efforts to strengthen the quality and governance of legal higher education; and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) through inter-institutional collaboration in building a credible accreditation system that promotes effective institutional governance.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
