This legal counseling program represented a synergy between academics through the participation of lecturers from the Faculty of Law UGM and law enforcement officials from Kejati DIY. The event aimed to enhance participants' understanding of Juvenile Delinquency and Social Reintegration, Village Asset Leasing, and Village Treasury Land Management. The program commenced with welcoming remarks delivered by the Head of Giripeni Village, creating a warm atmosphere and marking the beginning of this collaborative initiative. <strong>Legal Aid and Consultation Center (PKBH) <\/strong>(PKBH) bersama dengan <strong>High Prosecutor\u2019s Office of the Special Region of Yogyakarta<\/strong> (Kejati DIY) telah sukses menyelenggarakan kolaborasi acara Penyuluhan Hukum &#8220;Suluh Praja&#8221; di Kantor Kalurahan Giripeni, Kapanewon Wates, Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Penyuluhan hukum ini merupakan bentuk sinergi dari berbagai unsur, akademisi melalui kehadiran dosen Fakultas Hukum UGM dan Kejaksaan Tinggi DIY. Acara ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai topik Kenakalan Remaja dan Reintegrasi Sosial, Sewa Menyewa Aset Kalurahan, dan Pengelolaan Tanah Kas Desa. Acara dimulai dengan sambutan Lurah Giripeni. Sambutan diwarnai kehangatan serta perkenalan sebagai pembuka kolaborasi nyata ini.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The event continued with a presentation on the Duties and Authorities of the Civil and State Administrative Division (Datun) of the High Prosecution Office of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Ms. Pungkie Kusuma Hapsari, S.H., M.H., and Ms. Herlina Nur'aini, S.H delivered this session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Following the presentation, the program proceeded with the first legal counseling session on Juvenile Delinquency and Social Reintegration, delivered by Prof. Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A. In his presentation, Prof. Jaka explained that the successful social reintegration of Children in Conflict with the Law (ABH) is reflected in their ability to resume their roles within their families and communities, manage their emotions and resolve conflicts healthily, and continue their education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The second session featured Dr. jur. Any Andjarwati, S.H., M.Jur., presented the topic of Village Asset Leasing. In her presentation, Dr. Any discussed the legal framework governing village land, village assets, and leasing mechanisms under the prevailing laws and regulations, including Governor Regulation of the Special Region of Yogyakarta Number 24 of 2024. Furthermore, she explained that leasing constitutes one form of village asset utilization for a specified period in exchange for compensation, emphasizing that its implementation must comply with the legal status of the land and the prescribed procedures to ensure legal certainty in asset management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The third session was delivered by Dr. Sartika Intaning Pradhani, S.H., M.H., who presented the topic of Village Treasury Land Management. She explained that Village Treasury Land is a strategic asset of the village government whose utilization must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including preserving agricultural land in accordance with its designated function. In addition, Dr. Sartika outlined various mechanisms for utilizing Village Treasury Land, whether through direct management by the village government or through cooperation with local communities, while upholding legal certainty and promoting the welfare of the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the presentations, the event continued with an interactive discussion and question-and-answer session between the speakers and the village officials. The participants demonstrated great enthusiasm by raising various legal issues, particularly those related to the management of Village Treasury Land, village asset leasing mechanisms, and their implementation within village governance. The speakers addressed these concerns comprehensively by referring to the applicable legal framework while also providing practical perspectives relevant to challenges encountered at the village level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">In line with the theme of the event, \"Guarded Law for an Empowered Village,\" this legal counseling program is expected to contribute to the 4th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) by promoting quality education. Furthermore, the program is expected to support the 10th SDG on reducing inequalities through the fulfillment and protection of community rights, the 11th SDG on building sustainable cities and communities, and the 16th SDG on promoting peace, justice, and strong institutions, beginning at the village government level.
