\u00a0The Master of Notarial Law Program of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM), in collaboration with the Central Executive Board of the Association of Land Deed Officials (PP IPPAT), organized a Technical Guidance Program for the PPAT Examination on Sunday, 21 June 2026, at the Auditorium of Building B, Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The program was attended by participants preparing to take the PPAT Examination as part of efforts to enhance professional competence and understanding of the PPAT profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The technical guidance program featured experienced academics and practitioners in the fields of land law and PPAT practice. The first session, on Land Registration, was delivered by Dr. K.R.A. M.J. Widijatmoko, S.H., Sp.N., who discussed the principles and mechanisms of land registration as the foundation for land administration. Subsequently, Dr. Yagus Suyadi, S.H., M.Si., presented material on Institutional Organization, providing participants with an understanding of institutional structures and the strategic role of professional organizations in supporting the implementation of PPAT duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next session focused on National Land Law, presented by Prof. Dr. Nurhasan Ismail, S.H., M.Si., who discussed developments in land regulations and the legal principles underlying PPAT practice. The following session, delivered by Dr. Taufan Fajar Riyanto, S.H., M.Kn., addressed PPAT Office Regulations, including normative provisions and professional responsibilities attached to the position of PPAT as a public official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to regulatory aspects, participants also received guidance on the PPAT Code of Ethics from Dr. Nia Tresnawati, S.H., Sp.N., who emphasized the importance of integrity, professionalism, and compliance with ethical standards in carrying out the profession. The program was concluded with a session on Deed Drafting Techniques delivered by Hj. Andrea Septiyani, S.H., Sp.N., M.Kn. and Dr. Meggy Tribuana Tunggal Sari, S.H., M.Kn., who explained the technical aspects of preparing PPAT deeds and various important considerations in deed-making practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this program, participants are expected to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the materials tested in the PPAT Examination while strengthening their readiness to carry out the PPAT profession professionally, with integrity, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Technical Guidance Program for the PPAT Examination also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education and SDG 16 on Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, through improving professional quality and strengthening human resource capacity in the field of land law.
