The Faculty of Law of Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM) welcomed an educational visit from SMA Islam Dian Didaktika Depok, West Java, as part of a campus tour program on Wednesday (4\/2\/2026). A delegation consisting of 92 students and accompanying teachers was officially received by the Faculty of Law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event commenced with opening remarks from Selly Desilia, S.Pd., Vice Principal for Public Relations of SMA Islam Dian Didaktika Depok. In her remarks, she expressed appreciation for the warm reception and conveyed her hope that the visit would provide students with valuable insights and motivation to pursue higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second address, which also included the main presentation, was delivered by Prof. Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A., Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems of FH UGM. During his presentation, he provided a comprehensive overview of the Faculty of Law, including admission procedures for both the regular undergraduate program and the International Undergraduate Program (IUP), student quotas and admission pathways, scholarship opportunities, campus facilities available at UGM, and the Faculty\u2019s achievements at both the national and international levels. He also highlighted the contributions and accomplishments of FH UGM alumni who have pursued distinguished careers across various professional fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entire program was moderated by Tri Rahmat Hidayat, A.Md. The campus tour was designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of academic life at Universitas Gadjah Mada, covering topics such as admission pathways, available study programs, and the student experience in Yogyakarta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants demonstrated strong enthusiasm throughout the visit, particularly during the interactive discussion session. Students actively raised questions regarding UGM\u2019s admission process and opportunities for pursuing legal studies at the Faculty of Law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by expanding access to information on higher education opportunities for young people, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through the strengthening of collaboration between secondary education institutions and higher education institutions.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
