{"id":3950,"date":"2019-09-06T13:52:26","date_gmt":"2019-09-06T06:52:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/law.ugm.ac.id\/?p=3950"},"modified":"2019-09-06T13:52:26","modified_gmt":"2019-09-06T06:52:26","slug":"fakultas-hukum-ugm-tanda-tangani-perjanjian-kerja-sama-dengan-pengadilan-negeri-se-diy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/law.ugm.ac.id\/en\/fakultas-hukum-ugm-tanda-tangani-perjanjian-kerja-sama-dengan-pengadilan-negeri-se-diy\/","title":{"rendered":"Faculty of Law UGM Signs Cooperation Agreement with District Courts across Yogyakarta Special Region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM), Prof. Dr. Sigit Riyanto, S.H., LL.M., signed a memorandum of understanding on Cooperation in Education, Research, and Internship Programs between the Faculty of Law UGM and the District Courts across the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). The cooperation agreement will serve as a legal framework for students\u2019 PLKH Civil Court Practice, PLKH Criminal Court Practice, internships, and research at district courts throughout DIY.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement was formally signed on Thursday, 5 September 2019, in the presence of the Chief Judges of the Yogyakarta, Sleman, Bantul, and Wates District Courts; the Deputy Chief Judge of the Wonosari District Court; the Chair and Secretary of the Partnership and Development Unit (PDU) of the Faculty of Law UGM; as well as several judges and staff representatives from district courts across DIY.<\/p>\n<p>In his remarks, the Dean stated that the partnership between the Faculty of Law UGM and the district courts throughout DIY would provide valuable benefits for FH UGM students. According to the Dean, students would have opportunities to gain more practical learning experiences, as well as firsthand insights and wisdom from the circumstances and practices of the respective district courts. These experiences would contribute to the students\u2019 skills, perspectives, and ultimately their integrity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Representing the district courts across DIY, Budi Prasetyo, S.H., M.H., Chief Judge of the Yogyakarta District Court, expressed his appreciation for the cooperation agreement.
