The Faculty of Law at Gadjah Mada University (FH UGM) hosted a benchmarking visit from the IBLAM School of Law (Institute of Business & Legal Management) on Friday (December 5, 2025). The visit was led by the Chair of the LPIHM IBLAM Foundation, Dr. Rahmat Dwi Putranto, S.H., M.H., along with his delegation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This comparative study activity aims to strengthen the quality of legal higher education while promoting the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through the exchange of best practices regarding curriculum, learning processes, and strategies for improving academic quality. Additionally, this collaboration between legal education institutions supports SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by building networks and opportunities for cooperation in the fields of legal education and academic development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the discussion session, the UGM Faculty of Law team presented the academic approaches they employ, ranging from competency-based curriculum development to the integration of practical experience to ensure graduates are prepared to face the challenges of the modern legal profession. The focus on transparent and adaptive educational governance is also aligned with SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, particularly in terms of strengthening legal education institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the presentation and Q&A session, the delegation from IBLAM School of Law was given a tour of FH UGM\u2019s academic support facilities, including lecture halls, technology-based learning resources, and areas supporting student activities. This visit provided a firsthand look at the facilities and infrastructure used to support learning at FH UGM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this activity, the UGM Faculty of Law and the IBLAM School of Law hope to continue strengthening institutional cooperation and contribute to the development of legal education that is inclusive, high-quality, and oriented toward sustainable development.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
