On Thursday (October 23, 2025), Dr. Khotibul Umam, S.H., LL.M., a lecturer in the Department of Islamic Law at Gadjah Mada University, had the opportunity to serve as a speaker at a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) organized by the Environmental Fund Management Agency (BPDLH). It is hoped that this FGD will enhance the BPDLH Team\u2019s understanding and ability to align Islamic economic theory with BPDLH services through the implementation of sustainable financing based on Sharia contracts. The active role of UGM Law Faculty lecturers in this discussion forum aligns with UGM\u2019s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). First, SDG 4 (Quality Education), through active contributions and participation in presenting material related to the application of Sharia principles in the field of economics, particularly in the financial services sector.
