As part of its commitment to sustainable water resource management, the Faculty of Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM) has introduced dual-flush toilet systems throughout the faculty. This innovation represents a concrete step toward water conservation and the application of environmentally responsible practices across campus public facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The dual-flush system gives users a choice between two flushing options: a small button for liquid waste and a large button for solid waste. By matching water use to actual need, the system significantly reduces water consumption without compromising the hygiene or comfort of the facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The adoption of dual-flush toilets supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) \u2014 particularly SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), by ensuring efficient and sustainable water management, and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), through the adoption of water-saving technology and the cultivation of resource efficiency awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this initiative, the Faculty of Law UGM reaffirms its commitment to continuing to innovate in creating a clean, healthy, and sustainable campus environment.
