On Wednesday (September 11, 2025), the administrators of the Master\u2019s Program in Notarial Studies at the UGM Faculty of Law paid a visit to the office of PPAT Mustofa, S.H., M.Kn. This visit was a follow-up to the collaboration established between the Master\u2019s Program in Notarial Studies at the UGM Faculty of Law and the DIY Regional Board of the Indonesian Notaries Association (INI) and the Association of Land Deed Officers (IPPAT) to develop a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on the management and administration of notary and PPAT offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The purpose of this visit to the PPAT office was to document various important aspects related to the standards of an ideal PPAT office. The documentation covered site selection, floor plans and workspace layout, equipment supporting the performance of duties\u2014both as mandated by laws and regulations and for practical needs\u2014as well as the mechanism for reporting PPAT deeds to the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning\/National Land Agency (ATR\/BPN) system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is hoped that all points resulting from this initial collaboration meeting can be followed up on and implemented to the fullest extent possible. With strong synergy between the Master\u2019s Program in Notarial Studies at the UGM Faculty of Law and the INI Central Board, the objectives of this collaboration will certainly be achieved. This aligns with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). First, through the development of MOOC materials, this program supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) by expanding access to innovative and relevant legal education for both students and practitioners. Second, this initiative aligns with SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by strengthening the institutional governance of the notary and PPAT professions to ensure greater transparency, accountability, and compliance with regulations. Third, the synergy between universities, professional organizations, and practitioners reflects SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) in building sustainable collaboration to strengthen the quality of the legal profession in Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
