In this forum, Sri Wiyanti discussed topics regarding <em>gender equality in household roles and economic independence<\/em>, which are critical issues in achieving inclusive regional development. Her participation underscores FH UGM\u2019s role as an academic institution actively supporting gender mainstreaming in public policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to Sri Wiyanti, the Musrenbang also featured<strong> Agus Tri Haryono, S.T., M.T<\/strong>Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Yogyakarta City, who presented on development planning and strategic city issues. Another speaker, <strong>Suryani, S.E., M.Si<\/strong>, presented material on strategies for women\u2019s involvement in addressing strategic regional issues. The combination of perspectives from academics, bureaucrats, and local activists demonstrated multi-stakeholder synergy in strengthening women\u2019s position as key actors in development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This forum directly supports the implementation of the <strong>Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>, particularly <strong>SDG 5 (Gender Equality),<\/strong> by affirming the role of women in both domestic and public spheres, <strong>SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth)<\/strong> through the empowerment of women\u2019s economic independence, and <strong>SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions)<\/strong> by promoting inclusive participation in regional development planning.
