Through its faculty member, Sri Wiyanti Eddyono, S.H., LL.M. (HR), Ph.D., FH UGM served as a key driving force behind the workshop titled \u201cCare Work as the Foundation of Social Justice in the Workplace: Integrating Care Work into Organizational Policy,\u201d held from Wednesday (July 30, 2025) through Thursday (July 31, 2025) at the Aloft Hotel in Jakarta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">This workshop highlighted the importance of care work as an aspect that has long been marginalized in organizational policies, whether in educational institutions, healthcare services, or civil society organizations. Sri Wiyanti Eddyono emphasized that integrating care work into an organization\u2019s internal policies will create a more empathetic, equitable, and sustainable work environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The involvement of the UGM Faculty of Law, through Sri Wiyanti, is also in line with the university\u2019s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Among these are SDG 5: Gender Equality, by promoting recognition of care work\u2014which is predominantly performed by women\u2014as a form of labor. SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, through the creation of fair and inclusive work mechanisms. SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, by developing organizational policies that are more responsive to the needs of all members. SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, through strengthening governance that is human-centered and grounded in social justice. These four goals converge in the effort to build fair, inclusive, and humanistic working mechanisms, as well as to promote institutional governance that is more responsive to the needs of all members of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this active engagement, the UGM Faculty of Law has established itself not only as a center for legal education but also as a driving force for social change. Under the leadership of Sri Wiyanti Eddyono, the UGM Faculty of Law continues to contribute to building an organizational ecosystem that supports holistic human well-being, strengthens social solidarity, and bridges the gap between fair labor practices and the global agenda for sustainable development.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fakultas Hukum Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM) kembali menunjukkan kiprahnya dalam mendorong terciptanya lingkungan kerja yang inklusif dan berkeadilan.
