This academic activity is intended for regular students and students enrolled in the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) for the Bachelor of Law program. The UTS is an important part of the academic calendar, providing students with an opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of the material studied during the first half of the semester. It is an essential component of the educational process, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that emphasize quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In preparation for the exams, the faculty has implemented various measures to ensure a smooth and fair testing environment, including the provision of adequate facilities, the establishment of clear exam guidelines, and the availability of academic support for students who may need assistance. The midterm exam will cover various subjects in the Bachelor of Law curriculum, allowing students to demonstrate their knowledge in constitutional law, criminal law, and international law. This comprehensive assessment not only evaluates students\u2019 academic performance but also fosters critical thinking and analytical skills, which are essential for their careers in the legal field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The faculty is committed to creating an inclusive educational environment, ensuring that all students, regardless of their background, have equal access to resources and support. This commitment aligns with SDG 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of its support for SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, the Faculty of Law at UGM emphasizes the importance of balancing students\u2019 studies and well-being during the midterm exam period. Various initiatives have been launched, ranging from the provision of rest areas and psychological counseling services to short seminars on stress management and relaxation techniques. These measures are intended to maintain students\u2019 physical and mental well-being, enabling them to approach their exams in optimal and productive condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the administration of midterm exams at the Faculty of Law, UGM, also reflects the principles of SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, in which academic integrity is a primary focus. The Faculty emphasizes that every student is required to adhere to ethical standards and the principle of honesty at every stage of the exam. A transparent monitoring system and adjudication mechanism have been established to prevent and address any form of misconduct, thereby fostering a fair and trustworthy examination environment for the entire academic community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As exam dates approach, students are encouraged to manage their time wisely and seek help when needed. The faculty has emphasized the importance of maintaining a balanced study routine, including getting enough rest and practicing self-care to reduce stress.
