The discussion was divided into three main sessions addressing key themes: the future of interdisciplinary legal education, the challenges of legal learning in the digital era, and the dynamics of outcome -based curriculum development and local-global (glocal) integration in legal education.

Through this forum, participants discussed in-depth the importance of curriculum reform to produce graduates who are legal practitioners who not only master legal doctrine but are also sensitive to social dynamics, technology, and gender equity. The future MIH curriculum is directed towards strengthening interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches, with the involvement of non-academic elements such as civil society, policymakers, and legal industry players.

In the SDGs context, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)this workshop directly supports the realization of SDG 4: Qualified Educationby encouraging innovation in legal curricula that are contextual, interdisciplinary, and oriented towards meaningful learning. Beyond simply delivering legal material, the new approaches discussed emphasized the importance of learning methods that foster critical thinking skills, research skills, and social sensitivity in law students.

Furthermore, by prioritizing gender mainstreaming in the curriculum structure and content, and strengthening the participation of female academics as resource persons and discussion leaders, this activity also reflected a commitment to SDG 5: Kesetaraan GenderDiscussions covering issues of legal pluralism and social justice also enriched perspectives on building an inclusive and impartial legal education.

Meanwhile, through its efforts to develop a curriculum based on the rule of law, academic integrity, and social relevance, this workshop also made a tangible contribution to SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institution. Law students were encouraged to become agents of change who understand law not only as formal rules but also as an instrument for achieving substantive justice.

The presence of various legal higher education institutions in this dialogic and collaborative forum also reflected the spirit of SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals. By strengthening academic networks between universities, this workshop paved the way for knowledge exchange, the development of common standards, and synergy in building a superior, relevant, and equitable Indonesian legal education system.

The workshop's outcomes not only provided important input for the development of the 2025–2029 UGM MIH Curriculum but also opened up opportunities for ongoing synergy between law universities in building a more relevant and impactful quality of legal higher education.
